These videos use the term “Democracy Dollars” for voter-owned elections. This system of public financing of elections has also been referred to as Democracy Vouchers or Voter Dollars, but the concept is the same: if candidates get their campaign cash from the voters, they will serve the American people instead of serving the wealthy special interests who pay for their campaigns today.
